Akhrot tel
Pressed without heat, because heat is what takes the smell out of walnut oil and the good out of it. It comes out dark amber and heavy. People here use it on the skin and in the hair; it is also perfectly good poured over food that is already cooked.
Pressed from the same walnut on the shelf beside it. Very few shops can say that.
Rate on the day
These are made in small batches from the same saffron, walnut and almond sold at the front of the shop, so the rate follows what those cost that week. We quote what it costs today rather than print a number we would have to keep correcting.
