Saffron Oil
Kesar tel
Made by steeping our own Mongra saffron in a light carrier oil until the colour comes out — slowly and cold, the same way saffron gives its colour to milk. The threads are left in the bottle so there is nothing to take on trust.
Every other saffron oil asks you to believe there is saffron in it. In ours you can count the threads.
Rate on the day
These are made in small batches from the same saffron, walnut and almond sold at the front of the shop, so the rate follows what those cost that week. We quote what it costs today rather than print a number we would have to keep correcting.
